ROBBED Biff? car got broken into outside The Old Angel in Nottingham in December and Tony? Fender guitar was stolen along with two of Biffs leather jackets, one of which he had for over twenty years, Tony? guitar was a blonde Fender Bullet in a blue flight case with Sick on the Bus stencilled on the side, and Biff? jackets were motorbike style and one had an Iron Cross Motorhead badge and teeth missing on all the pocket zips and the other had one of the epaulets missing, we no there aint much hope of seeing them again but there is a reward for information and a beating for the cunts who took them.
THE BUS HAVE A QUICK LOOK BACK AT 2001 The year started off well with a 3 album deal with Go Kart Records from New York and then immediately went wrong with a mix up over tour dates in the US and this was going to be the way every time we tried to get over there. In the Spring we did a few show in the Midlands and a great trip over to France, in May we did our first tour of Japan and that was probably the high light of the year for us (cheers for everything you mad fuckers) In the Summer we did a hand full of shows in the UK and the massive Holidays in the Sun fest, after that we went into the studio to start work on the follow up to Punk Police but we haven? had any word from Go Kart Records about a release date. Apart from the recording and a few odd Shows (Holidays in the Smoke) things have been a bit quite in the last few months for us, things got a bit fucked up with the Conflict support in the US falling through, it was decided to cancel
METAL MAG GOES PUNK! One of the UK? leading Metal magazines Terrorizer takes a close look at the Punk scene in an issue celebrating Punks 25th anniversary this month, Sick on the Bus get a few mentions and a live review of there set at the Holidays in the Smoke and there is also an interview with Biff, done over a pint or two in London. The Hackney Punks have a good slot in there, with words from Clara (Zero Tolerance) and Kieran from The Restarts, also Caroline makes the cover and gets another photo inside, It makes a pleasant change from a long haired, bearded Death Metal band wearing inverted crosses!
PLANS FOR 2002 First off we?e going to get back in the studio to finish work on GO TO HELL, then in the Spring and Summer we should be going on tour in Europe followed by a tour of the East and West Coasts of the US with GBH. In October there are plans to go to Japan for a more extensive tour of the country with Extinct Government, UK dates throughout the year and most probably back in the studio recording more new material by the end,
THE SOTB NEWS FRIGGING IN THE RIGGING COS THERE? FUCK ALL ELSE TO DO That? right, fuck all has happened apart from a few rehersals and the odd gig, we are still waiting on some money so we can finish Go To Hell and still waiting on news of when we are going to the US this year so everything is on hold and very frustrating and fucking boring, we have done so little so far this year that Biff got a job for a few weeks but luckily the firm had money problems of their own and sent him home!
BIG CHEESE CAN GO TO HELL Well there is one bit of news to tell you and that is after a meeting with Eugene and Miles that ended in a fight a mugging and a shit load of money spent on beer and Tequila it seems that Big Cheese will be putting Go To Hell out in the UK and they are already sorting some live dates out for us. EVE OF DESTRUCTION It looks like SOTB may be main tour support to The Dickies on the UK tour in June as a run up the the Holidays in the Sun fest, but like everything else we are still waiting to hear!

MAD ANDI ARRESTED! On Wag's stag night in Worcester, The rest of the band and close friends of the groom were seen out having a "quiet" drink at The Apple Tree public house, they then left for a noisy drink over the road, on returning to The Apple Tree they were understandably disappointed to be locked out of a lock in, they then decided to go to a nearby club for a few more beverages, but on arrival at the club the door man took one look at the party and refused them entry saying "I don't like the look of you and you're too drunk" Biff the vocalist with the band tired to negotiate their way in but after about two minutes he said to the door man "your some kind of cunt aren't you?" this seemed to do nothing to aid their way in. With all the frustration Andi picked up a notice board and threw it at the door man who was looking at us through a small window , in the now locked door. The police arrived a few minutes later and arrested Andi on a criminal damage charge, but in fairness to the police they let us off for smoking skunk and made their way through the blue haze and took Andi away for a night in the cell, only to be let out the next day to find everyone had fucked off!.
BIFF LIGHTS UP! by firing bottle rockets from his arse on the recent east coast tour of the US, helped by Gabby and Julian from Molotov Cocktail (interesting???) SOTB toured with Mototov Cocktail in the UK in May and June of last year.
WAG gets time off for bad behavior! Kev the original drummer will be standing in for Wag, while he goes on honeymoon.
OUT NOW! SET FIRE TO SOMEONE IN AUTHORITY Has been released on Data Records this is a remix of the self titled 16 track cd that old out soon after it was released. This lp features the late Paul Blaber on drums (RIP)
VIDEO NASTY! Live footage of the band playing Kill Yourself will be released along with 18 other bands, fly on the wall footage and interviews, filmed between 1996 and 1999 on 'STREET PUNK ---THE MOVIE'. The Track Punk Police has been released on a 20 track com CD called Beast of British, on Deck Cheese Records (Big Cheese Magazine) The com also features Snuff, Uk Subs, King Prawn, Pitchshifter, Dog Toffee, and many more. New Tracks to be recorded, maybe for a split release between SOTB and Demented are Go, with both bands doing a cover of one of each thers songs, if this doesn't happen, expect an ep called "Go to Hell" out later this year (4 new songs and live stuff) LATEST Demented back together after split while on tour in Europe!
ANOTHER DAMNED CHRISTMAS The boys are to be the support band to The Damned on their UK tour in December.
THIS PAGE WAS ORIGINALLY POSTED NOVEMBER 2000 BROKEN BONES Biff gets several broken ribs after 999 played in Bedford, Arthur the bassist with 999 was leaving the club with Biff and friends to drink some Absinth and Vodka back at Biff? flat in Bedford, when they thought it would be a good idea (in their drunken stupa) to pick up and throw each other around, but Big Arthur (6 foot 3 and about 19 stone) lost his balance and dropped Biff on his head then proceeded to fall on him. The full extent of the injuries was not apparent until the morning after when Biff tried to get out of bed. Arthur is also suspected of sitting in Biff? sun glasses back at the flat. This happens just one week after Biff and Tony and Mad Andi received their third ban of the year from Esquires for a ?ispute·with the door men. ANDI GETS OFF! Mad Andi gets off criminal damage charge after paying the owner of the night club for the damage to the door in Worcester. For full details (see old news page 1) BRIAN ON DOUBLE BASS Brian can be seen and heard standing in on bass for another Bedford band The Tendons as they ?oger·their way round the country.
JAPAN TOUR The band will be on tour in Japan on the first week of May 2001, they will most lightly be touring with Extinct Government, Orthofix, and Hazard. US TOUR seems lightly to be in the spring of next year, due to the inclusion of SOTB on The Damned tour in November and December, but the band are on their way back to the States for sure in 2001
BIFF GOB SMACKED After getting his arm cut buy a thrown bottle on a recent Varukers tour, he got one in the face on the SOTB tour of Europe, cutting his lip and breaking a tooth, this happened at the last day of the Ladronka fest in Prague, as usual no one wanted to admit to it and no one of the several hundred people there saw anything ?f you wanna throw a bottle at least have the guts to stand up to me instead hiding in the crowd you cowardly bastard!" (Biff) CUNTS The band had all there merchandise stolen at the last show of the tour at the Ex Steffe in Karlsruhe (GER)

WAG BREAKS HIS FOOT AT MORECAMBE! 5 MINUTES BEFORE GOING ON STAGE WAG REALISES THAT HIS DRUM BAG IS STILL IN THE VAN AND HAS TO RUN TO THE OTHER END OF TOWN TO GET IT, ON THE WAY HE FALLS REALLY BADLY AGAINST THE KERB AND HAS TO HOP THE REST OF THE WAY THERE AND BACK, THE BAND PLAY MOST OF THEIR SET BEFORE THEY HAD TO STOP AS WAG WAS IN AGONY. AFTERWARDS TONY ATTEMPTED TO CARRY WAG ON HIS BACK WITHOUT SUCCESS BEFORE BRAIN FOUND A SHOPPING TROLLEY TO GET HIM BACK TO THE VAN, THE BAND ARE NOT SURE WEATHER THIS HAD TO DO WITH DRINKING ALL DAY BEFORE THE 12 O?LOCK (MIDNIGHT) SLOT THEY HAD GOT.
USA TOUR UPDATE SICK ON THE BUS DID NOT DO THE TOUR OF THE WEST COAST WITH CONFLICT, AS CONFLICT WANTED AN ANARCHIST BAND TO DO THE SHOWS WITH THEM ??? WE HEARD FROM A RELIABLE SOURCE THAT THEY HAD READ OUR LYRICS AND DECIDED THAT WE WERE NOT THE KINDA BAND TO BE TOURING WITH! SO IT NOW LOOKS MORE LIKELY THE BAND WILL TOUR THE US SOME TIME IN THE NEW YEAR, MAYBE WITH NEWLY SIGNED LABEL MATES AND DRINKING BUDDIES GBH .

NEWS POSTED 25/05/01 NEW RECORDINGS, The band have written about 15 new songs and are still writing before they go into the studio to record the new album at the end of June, they plan to call the album ?O TO HELL·after writing a track called ?esus is coming / go to hell·the song has very strong explicit lyrics and should raise an eyebrow or two. USA, SOTB going to America mid August to do a 10 date west coast tour with label mates Conflict, then fly to New York to do a few dates on the east coast. JAPAN, The first tour Japan was a great success for the band, every night was a great show and the boys want to thank everyone who helped and drank with them especially Ricky and Seiko, Soe Chan, Fumio, Kimberly, No-Gan, Kanbe (Orthofix) The Blast, Extinct Government, Colored Rice Men, Hazard, etc.

GO KART SIGN THE BUS! SICK ON THE BUS HAVE JUST SINGED A THREE ALBUM DEAL WITH GO KART RECORDS FROM NEW YORK, THEY JOIN BIFFS OTHER BAND THE VARUKERS AND ALSO HAVE THE LUNACHICKS, THE BUZZCOCKS, DOWN BY LAW AND CONFLICT AMONGST OTHERS AS NEW LABEL MATES, GO KART WILL ALSO BE RE-RELEASING THEIR LAST TWO RELEASES ?ET FIRE TO SOMEONE IN AUTHORITY·AND THE DOUBLE CD SUCK ON SICK ON THE BUS FUCK HEADS·AND PUNK POLICE·SOMETIME IN APRIL.
THE BAND WILL BE GOING IN THE STUDIO IN THE NEXT TWO MONTHS TO START WORK ON THE FIRST OF THE THREE NEW ALBUMS FOR THE LABEL, IT IS SET TO BE RELEASED IN JUNE, WITH A WORKING TITLE GO TO HELL·BUT THE DATE AND THE TITLE MAY CHANGE.
US DATES CANCELLED! SOME OF THE WEST COAST DATES HAVE FALLEN THROUGH SO THE BAND HAVE RELUCTANTLY DECIDED TO CALL THE WHOLE TOUR OFF UNTIL LATER IN THE YEAR SO THAT ALL THE DATES CAN BE SORTED OUT WELL IN ADVANCE. THE SICK BOYS ARE THINKING OF TRYING TO GO OVER TO THE STATES AT THE SAME TIME AS THERE NEW ALBUM IS RELEASED, BUT AS THEY HAVE NO DEFINATE DATE FOR THAT THINGS ARE STILL A BIT IN THE AIR.
THE BOYS HAVE FOUND A NEW REHEARSAL ROOM IN TOWN WHICH IS REALLY HANDY FOR AS THEY ARE NOW WORKING HARD ON WRITING MATERIAL FOR THE NEW ALBUM, BUT THERE IS ONLY ONE PROBLEM THE NEW SPACE IS ONLY THREE MINUTES AWAY FROM THERE LOCAL PUB, SO MAYBE THERE WILL BE MORE DRINKING THAN FUCKING WRITING GOING ON.
